The 2020 Vintage
The 2020 growing season was marked by climatic contrasts: from a rainy spring and cool nights to a hot, dry summer that accelerated ripening. These dynamic conditions shaped a vintage of structure, concentration, and finesse. Harvest began mid-September under ideal conditions, concluding in early October with grapes of optimal balance and vibrancy.
Vinification & Ageing
• Grapes hand-harvested and double-sorted (manual + optical)
• Fermented in stainless steel and concrete vats at 26–30°C
• Aged 18 months in French oak barriques (70% new), then 12 months in bottle
• Vinified by single plot and variety, blended after one year.
• Bolgheri DOC Superiore designation
